Watch Movies Online

Hey! Do you know you can watch latest movie online without having to spent so much out there, wasting time traveling to shopping complex, stuck in jam & driving round & round looking for parking space. Speaking of parking, that reminds me of Sunway Pyramid. If you have a choice, do yourself a favour, don't park inside. Expensive!

Anyway, this watching movie online will not be practical for those couples lah. It's strongly not encouraged! Drive out there, hold your darling hand, go watch movie. You need a romantic moment together.

To watch movie online go to this site
They have many latest movies, but the life span of the movies are short. Meaning, they won't keep it there for long (for some movies). Of course you won't get the same quality like those in cinema, but you will be surprised some are actually crystal clear in terms of picture & sound. Buy yourself a good ear piece / speakers, that will pretty much help out in boosting the sound quality.

Hair Gel ?

Was trying to gel my hair as usual in the morning, after bath. I had the gel on my hand & rubbing it evenly. Then I was applying it on my face, instead of the hair.

What was I thinking ?!! Perhaps I am too worried of the new work place.

Chain Reaction

We are begining to see the chain reaction as a result of fuel price increased.

Prices of goods & services has increased drastically.

Will this result in increasing crime rate too ?

We only have one person to thank...

Fake Cimb Clicks Site

Was trying to do online banking transaction at CIMB Clicks just now. A screen appear warning customers of fake banking site which looks very similar to its site.

Well, basically it's quite easy to identify the fake. It's using a different address.
So what happens if you went to the wrong site ? Your account & money will be compromised. Immediately call the bank or you can kiss your money goodbye.

Farewell Lunch & Gifts

Went back to work after short holiday with darling. 5 days to some is long, but to me seems like a short period of time :( Wish the weekend will be longer. It's my second last day with the current company. Tomorrow will be my last . My lady boss came over to my place, wishing me good luck & gave me a gift . Sony Cyber-shot Digital Camera DSC-W110. I couldn't believe it ! So nice & generous of her. My neighbour also gave me gift. Don't know what to call that, something like a keychain which can be use on the handphone too. So nice of her. Then lunch time, lady boss belanja us seafood - farewell lunch. Tomorrow there's another farewell lunch from my colleagues. Today one of my vendor called me up to go for lunch, but I have to politely refuse it as I've too many farewell lunch waiting.

Feels abit heavy in the heart to leave them. But life goes on, greater challenge waiting ahead. I need to move on.

Great Time at Genting with darling

Me & darling went to Genting on Friday. Earlier, somehow darling has magic touch, she managed to book the Deluxe room last minute via online at a promo rate, with breakfast included which is very worth it.

Passed by uncle Lim's memorial park below. Huge memorial park & beautifully constructed.

The winding road to Genting is making darling dizzy.

The cable cars which is clearly visible when we are about to reach First World Hotel.

Ahhh, finally after all the winding roads, First World Hotel clearly visible.

The scenary which can be seen at the car park.

Took some pics indoor, at the lobby, the walkway. Very nice view.

After some photos session, we decided to catch a movie. The hilarious Kung Fu Panda. If you have not watch it, I recommend it to you.

The cinema, even though small, it's very comfy inside. Sounds system ok, not bad.

Since it's still too early to check-in, we go for our lunch - Kenny Rogers. We had quater chics with muffins. Everything was ok, except the muffin. It's just not as good as I have tested in other Kenny Rogers outlet.

Just nice, after movie & lunch, it's time to check-in. The duluxe room, slightly spacious. Toilet is much bigger & cleaner compare to those in standard room.

We walk around & decided to play bowl. Look at the score! Me 8 & darling 21. She beats me at the start of the game. My first 2 frame, all masuk longkong. Actually, I purposely make darling happy mahhh... let her win at first.

Look at the end of the score. Who won? Whoo ??? heheheee

The theme park which can be clearly seen along the Star Walk.

We drop by Monte Carlo casino. I lost RM40 to the jackpot machine. But I won it back the next day. Darling was lucky, she won some. We played until night falls. If I don't pull darling out from the slot machine, she will be glued to the chair until midnight.

After KFC, we took a walk outside the theme park & Theme Park Hotel.

It was fullmoon that night. Awwwwwwooooooooooolll....

These are the pics taken inside the temple, on our way back from Genting.

Darling Coming

Darling will be arriving tonight. I'm so happy. Can't wait for night to fall. When we are together, just wish the time will pass by slowwww... so that we can spent more time together.

Reducing Housing Loan wif EPF

Got sms from Ambank informing the letter for EPF is ready. Went to collect the letter at Klang branch this morning around 9.15am, but got dissapointed as the letter has not arrived yet from HQ. Was forced to go back home. 10.51am, the customer service lady gave me a rang to informed the letter has arrived.

Drove to Ambank again, collected the letters. RM20 for 2 simple letters. Wow!
Find a parking at Klang is really a problem & the traffic is just terrible. Too many cars.
Went to EPF office to submit all the docs. Very efficient ! In less than 10 minutes & I'm done.
Something has changed though. Now they will issue the cheque under the bank name. Hmmm...

Rebates for Fuel Subsidy

Went to Port Klang Post Office in the morning, trying my luck to take the fuel subsidy. Anyone who renewed their road tax in April - May 2008 is entitled for RM625 rebate as announced by the PM. Just bring your IC & fill in a form. Anyway, since the queue was so long, I turned back.

Try my luck again at noon. Number displayed at that moment was 2034. My number is 2098. Fine lor, fill in the form first. After waiting & standing at the corner for 10 minutes, suddenly one kind hearted uncle pass his ticket to me. He said "do you want this ticket, perhaps it's faster". I looked at the number. 2046 ! I look at the uncle again & quickly thank him!

When I was at the counter, it took less than 5 minutes to get my rebate. Thank God! & Thank You Uncle!

Will be awayyyyy

Will be on leave tomorrow until end of the week. Monday & Tuesday will be reporting back to work. Tuesday, will be the last day I'm stepping on the current office & bid "sayonara" to all.

Tomorrow evening, my darling will be here. I'm very anxious to meet & give her a warm hug. Can't wait for tomorrow to come. And when tomorrow come, I wish the time will pass by slowwwwwwww...

TM Challenge 2008

Got some pics from yesterday treasure hunt organised by TM. It's called TM Challenge 2008. We are not really hunting for treasure, rather to complete some tasks / challenges along the journey which started at Shah Alam & end at Bagan Lalang.

I woke up early 4.30 in the morning, but I set the alarm at 5.30am. I guess I'm excited about the event.

Every participants wore this t-shirt.

Look at the handsome fella posing. Number "33". Nice number eh? We suppose to meet at the gathering point at 7am, but me & my team members reached there at 6.20am. Since we are abit early, we decided to solve the first three bonus questions (given to all the 40+ teams during the briefing yesterday). Anyway, we do not want to be the first in line to be flag off, since it's the first ever treasure hunt we join & we do not know what to expect.

7.50am, we were flag off. There were about 40 cars with 4 team members in each car. We have to go to the Shah Alam extreme sports centre. Along the way, at certain points, we are required to answer questions given. There were easy questions, hard one & also tricky questions which requires lots of input from team members. Thank God I got good team members.

The first challenge we need to complete is to shoot a target with paint ball. Each members are given 5 chance to hit the target. 5 hits are required, otherwise points will be deducted. Damn! We failed this challenge.

The second challenge was below. We managed to get passed this challenge as she hits right at the target. Bravo!

We drove to Banting, Morib, Carey Island, Tj Sepat to solved the questions given.

Below is another challenge. To be completed within certain time or marks will be deducted. We made it through.

Below another challenge. We have to snap a pic of a very little fish which is almost invisible to the naked eye. Lucky thing I have a digital camera which have 3x zoom! Right after that, we have to complete a puzzle. The ladies are real good in solving puzzle.

Yet, below another challenge. We have to peel off fresh coconut using a tool, get its content out (using the old conventional way) & make santan. We passed this challenge within the required time. So what was I doing below ? I have to run & climb down the rock to take the sea water & I almost fell.

Finally! After 7 hours of hunt (strangly we did not notice how fast the time ticked) & completed all the challenge, we arrived at the Finish line. Had high tea at the hotel.

Good news is, my team won the rice cooker each. We are at number 6th spot. Yeah! All of us enjoy this event so much. Hope there will similar event next year. If any of you out there have the chance to join treasure hunt, go for it.

Farewell Dinner

Had farewell dinner yesterday evening. Celebrating the leaving of 3 staffs who resigned in June. One of them will be me. Actually, not really celebrating lah, otherwise it will be like they are so happy that at last I'm leaving the the company. It's their way of showing appreciate for job well done all these while.

The dinner session has karaoke. I realised that, the managers actually can sing very well. And they can really go 'gila gila' when off work. I was forced to sing. They know I don't sing, but they keep pushing the mic to me. Everyone (about 17 peoples) claps & cheer when I hold the mic. Oh my god! That's really embarrassing. Luckily someone helps out with the other mic. I became the backup singer for him ... hahaha.

Thank you ladies & gentlemen for the dinner.

Looks real right ? Someone showing off middle finger!
But take a closer look at below pics.
That's the cleaner's job, not me !!!

How to save on petrol ?

With petrol price shooting up & no sign of going down, I guess the following will helps out a little bit on burning less fuel when you drive :
  • many say once you fired up the engine early in the morning, don't let it idle as you will burn more fuel. Start driving immediately, but go slow for the engine to warm up. Some cars needs to warm up before you start driving. For example, Honda City has an temperature indicator on the daskboard. The indicator will usually goes off after 1 minute of warm up. I guess all the newer car doesn't need to warm up, however, check your car manufacturer guide / book.

  • the ideal speed to drive on highway to achieve economic fuel is at 80 kph. Some say is between 80 - 100 kph. As you go higher, more fuel is required to achieve that speed. It has to do with the mechanism in your car that handle how well / efficient the fuel is burnt.

  • dont tail gate. We often come across jokers who likes to drive very closely behind us. If you lightly press on the brake (very very lightly), the jokers will have no choice but to hit on their brake, otherwise, they will end up kissing us. Their car will loose momentum, they will have to change gear & use up more fuel. When ever I notice someone tail gating me, I like to lightly press on the brake, as these jokers do not have the patience to wait & will overtake. Of course we got to make sure we are not hogging the fast lane lah. If we drive slow, keep to the left lane.

  • ensure tyres are properly inflated. We should check our tyres pressure at least two weeks once. If tyres are under inflated, more fuel are needed to move the car. So we burnt more fuel for less millage we travel. More fuel burnt = more money $$$ burnt. It only takes few minutes to check tyres pressure. I will rather loose few minutes than loosemore money. You ?

  • get off the pedal. When you know you are about to reach to a stop, get off the pedal. Your car will have enough momentum to bring you to a stop. Some people will just pedal even though they are about to reach the stop & hit on the break hard. Waste more fuel = waste more money.

  • pump in the morning? Lots of people advise me to pump petrol in the morning. It has to do with the pressure in the fuel tank. Don't know how true is this. But what the heck, just pump lah, coz early morning at petrol station less car / traffic.

  • drive smart. Many people like to step on the pedal hard, creating the tyres "screeching" sound & smoke when the traffic turns green. What's the hurry man ? Lots of traffic lights in Malaysia. I will still be able to see you at the next traffic light ma... There's no need to speed off. Drive slow at first gear. Until the car has enough momentum, you can slowly increase your speed. More fuel is burnt at initial gear.

  • go light. Many people like to put lots of things in the boot adding more weight to the car. The extra weight or load will require more fuel to be burn to move the car. Is ok if the necessities like tools, spare tyre are in there.

These little things won't save you much money in fuel, but it long run, every little effort counts & contributed to the money saved.

TM Let's Talk ?

Got a call from a lady claim to be from TM call centre this evening around 5pm, asking me to sign up for TM Let's Talk RM38 package. I was told the usual RM26 rental will be waived. Can make unlimited local & outstation call free of charged. Calls to HP will be charged at certain rate. I asked few questions as to whether there's any conditions or limit on the number of hours that I can make, she said NO. From the way she talk, it sounds very impatience & rude to me. She asked for some details which I gave w/out giving a second thought!

Now comes to think of it, I'm a bit regret. I should have end the call immediately the moment I felt uncomfortable & irritated talking to the lady. My first mistakes ! OK, I'm learning & will not make such mistakes again in future.

I should have asked the lady to call back again tomorrow to confirm whether I will like to sign up for the package, instead of giving her the confirmation on the spot ! Second mistakes! If TM want my business, they will call back.

I did some search on the Net on TM Let's Talk package. I heard lots of negative things about that package & some said they got mislead & sort of like cheated by TM. Damn! Regret!

Treasure Hunt

Will be participating in a treasure hunt organised by Telekom Malaysia this Saturday, 14th June, together with two other colleagues. First time joining a treasure hunt. There will be a briefing session on Friday evening. Wonder what will be the prize like & whether our team will be able to win, at least something.

No more price hike in petrol until end Dec 08?

Heard over the radio yesterday night, the PM announced that, there will be no more further price increase in petrol throughout the year. So the PM is telling the rakyat, even if the oil price shoot up to US$200/brl (currently in the range of approx US$138/brl), the government will not raise the petrol price. Hmmmmmm... the PM has been given us lots of surprises previously. So I would not be surprised if in August, the petrol price is raised again. So the moment I heard that coming out from the PM's mouth, the first thing that comes into my mind is, "aik ! boleh percaya ke ?"

Pump petrol today (1st time pump since the petrol increased). Almost reaching RM100 for full tank. My god! Previously was RM70. Shared the info with my darling. Somehow she tried to help me to cut down on petrol money by suggesting few ideas. Very nice of her. But then again, when it comes to spending time & being together with you, there's no problem darling. Why ? Because I love you.

The managers belanja me makan, sort of like thanking me for helping them to sort out the problems related to IT there, improving their networking system, etc. Lunch today is also free. Had bah kut teh with another manager from other deparment. What's more! Since it's free, so wallap as much as I can lah, like there's no tomorrow.

Improvement Noticed

Went to Inland Revenue Dept in Klang to get the clearance for salary release yesterday. I was surprised to see some improvement in terms of the personnel who man the front counter. The lady that I deal with is courteous & very helpful. Even though I was made to wait due to their system down, but it's ok, because I was treated nicely.

At the same time took the opportunity to go to KWSP office to take form. Need to widthdraw money to reduce the housing loan. Darn loan ! Even though been paying every month, when the statement came, the balance amount is still not reducing. Looking at the loan & the monthly installment, it's putting lots of pressure on me.

Went over the bank to request for a letter which required by KWSP. The darn bank is charging RM20 for a simple letter. Blood sucker !!! And it's going to take them 2 - 3 weeks to come out with the letter. Hmph! Talking about efficiency & good service!!!

Finally, use NLite program to put the SATA driver into the Windows XP Professional cd. Boot up the Presario V3000 again. Bravo !!! It works prefectly fine!!!

Accident Anything Anywhere

Very often when we drive, we assume it will be a smooth sailing journey, where ever we are heading. Bear in mind, accident happens anytime, anywhere & it will caught us off guard. As such, we ought to be very careful the moment we start the engine. Make sure there's no cat / dog underneath our car. Be extra careful when negotiating a corner. Ensure there's no joker aka irresponsible driver who speeds like nobody's business coming out from no where whenever you are trying to get to the other side. The vehicles which is next to you might loose control & suddenly swerve to your lane, so watch out for these kind of unexpected things.

I had a scary experience once. I was driving behind this lorry which was carrying huge loads of building construction materials. I was about to reach a road bend & I decided to overtake the lorry. In seconds after overtaking the lorry, I heard a loud noise from behind. Looking at the rear mirror, I saw the content which was carried by the lorry was all over the road. The cars behind me was not so lucky!

We need to be alert all time while on the road. If sleepy, do something which could make you stay awake, like chewing something, eating extra sour sweets, singing, etc.

Get to know who is your insurer & the emergency number to call in case *touch wood* accident.
These information will comes in very handy as I'm speaking based on experience.

Wireless Not Working

Darnit! Was having problem connecting to home wireless. It just doesn't want to connect. That has cut my Internet off. Double check wireless card settings, the wireless key, everything seems to be ok. But the darn thing just don't want to connect.

Finally, trying one last thing. Shutdown & restart my laptop. Hey! It got connected instantly when the notebook booted up. Hmm, seems like lots of problem related to windows can be solved by rebooting the pc / laptop.

Communicate is the key

Man is not God. Man kind can predict what's in a person's mind, but they will not be able to read & tell precisely what the person is thinking at that particular time. Accuracy of that prediction is unknown. They could be right, they could be wrong. Many people tends to expect the other party to understand them, to know what they are going through, what's in their mind, etc.

Having that said, the best way is to have both party communicate & talk to each other.

Dumpling Day

Had tim sum in the morning with bro in law & nephew. Mom & sis don't want to join as they are busy making rice dumpling. The tim sum taste good. On weekday, this restaurant will have 50% discount. Will definately bring darling go there when she's here on this coming June 18th until 22nd. Can't wait for her to be here. Will be planing to meet Tina & Karen for bah kut teh or perhaps TGIF. Karen, make sure you don't your soldiers over, coz you going to make me bankrupt.

Noon time, dumpling is ready. Of all the dumpling I've tasted out there, the best is still from mom. I had 2 delicious dumplings. Don't dare to take more. Looking after my diet & weight & ohhhh, the most important one, my kukubird.
