Hope to get the job

Went for a job interview today. Hopefully I will get it. Didn't do quite well in the interview, however, I believe I have created a good impression. Towards the end of the interview, from what the interviewer said, I think it's quite promising. Well, whatever it is, will get the answer in 2 weeks time.

That Fella at canteen

Saw this big fella at the office canteen compound. The poor fella must be hungry & looking for food. The mak cik canteen threw some bread for it to cross the fence, so that I can take good look at it & snap some pics. Woahhh, thank you mak cik.

The best part was, she asked me to catch it home & bbq it. Urgh!!!

Danger of Electricity Current

I was trying to use back the cutter & was surprised to find the burnt mark on the cutter from the incident I had last week. There was also a small gap on the cutter blade. A small piece of metal has melted from contact with the electricity.

Almost Die

A cutter & a power cord which is still connected to power source. Looks simple. But this two things almost took my life away, at around 3.30pm today. Was in the server room to changed the backup battery ( uninterrupted power supply - ups ) & busy rearranging back & swapping the power cord to the new ups. The power cords were everywhere & messy. I made the decision to cut & throw away the old power cord since taking out the power cords which was tied up & going through narrow way of the racks will be difficult & time consuming. I was very careful. Tracing the first power cord to the power channel, switching it off & cutting it out. Cut & threw away the second one. Tracing the third power cord & cutting it. In a blink of an eye, I saw a bright orange colour spark & a loud blast !!! In an instant, the whole office was black out. I was in a state of shocked! I was motionless. My heart beat was extremely fast. I was still standing at the same spot & was practically thinking of nothing. Colleagues came into the server room to check out what happened. I was trying to re-call what triggers the incident & I realised that, I have not switch off the third cord power source before cutting it off.

The power was restored by the maintenance people after about 10 minutes. The incident is still fresh in my mind. I'm glad I'm still alive & able to blog about this.

Price of Rice Increased ?

OK, the price of a bowl of mee has shot up. Fine, don't eat mee lor then.
But now, rice turn. So what to do ? Don't eat rice ? Then eat what ? Bread ? Gardenia has raised some of it's bread price yesterday.

So what to eat now ? Biscuits ? Grass ?

What's gonna increased next ? Petrol ?

When will be salary turn ?

Mozilla has released Firefox 2.0.0.14, fixing a critical security hole in the JavaScript engine of Firefox. Users experienced stability issue, where Firefox crashes during JavaScript garbage collection. The new version of Firefox will fixed the problem.
