Little Susie came running into the house after school one day, shouting, "Daddy! Daddy! I got a 100 in school today!"

"That's great, Sweetheart," said her daddy. "Come in to the living room and tell me about it."

It Died

My faithful portable hard disk died on me today. This is very upset. I stored lots of softwares & datas in it. It has served me well, even for a short period of time, if not mistaken 2 years I think. Without warning or any sign, it just died *sigh*. One new hard disk will cost me around Rm200-250 for 80GB.

Voting?

Read a blog post this morning about why a third of eligible voters won't vote (click here to read the post). Very true of what has been said. Well, that's what a friend of my told me too. He stay in Klang. He said, all these while, the candidate is an alien to him (never seen the face of the candidate he has voted for). Voting for a candidate which serve in Shah Alam? Gheez! Now how the hack do you know what this candidate has contributed to the area / folks in Shah Alam while you lived in Klang? Didn't the SPR people know about this before assigning voters to their station ?

And for God sake, if the opposition party want us to vote for them, they must do something to proof to us (the voters) that they deserve the vote. If they keep putting religion as their main priority, it's giving me a perception that, they do not have the capability to lead the country. I think DAP is doing quite well, compared to other opposition. At least we know they are fighting for good cause, against wrong doing of certain parties who bring bad names to the country.

Trip Up North

Drove up North with my darling this morning. 4 1/2 hours journey. We talked, joke & share. Smooth journey all the way. Stretch along Tanjung Malim is a bit dangerous though, as the road is narrow & there works are going on.

Stopped by at Bidor. Bought some cookies for darling's mom. Ate wan tan mee with duckling herb soup. Love it, delicious.

Pic taken from Sony Ericsson K610i.

It was raining at certain part of Perak, Penang & Kedah. Nevertheless, the journey was an enjoyable one with my darling, which keep entertaining me & feed me with chocolates & sweets.

Flag ?

Is there anything wrong with the flag ?

Calendar

When I'm back home, usually when I walked past the calendar. I will tear it off to mark the end of the day & welcoming the next day. That has been a habit & become a norm as day goes. Never realised I've torn off over 200+ days of calendar & it's already August!!!

4 more months, it will be bye bye 2007 & Helloooooo 2008.
