Tips - Windows XP Security TAB

Tips for IT guys / gals out there.

This only works in XP ah.

When sharing a folder, you can only see a SHARING tab, but SECURITY tab right? OK, here's how to enable the SECURITY tab.

To enable Permissions in XP, do the following:

Open My Computer.
Tools-Folder Options- View
In Advanced Settings, disable the checkbox USE SIMPLE SHARING(Recommended).
Apply the settings.
The permissions will now be displayed in the Security tab.
