- high chances it fails is due to the XP logon profile do not have Administrator rights. Go to Control Panel - User Accounts. Your ID should have Administrator privileges.
- ensure you have the latest IE 7 installation file at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
